Ideal Fashions Inc. was originally a coat manufacturing company that was established in the 1950's. In the late 1950's, the original founder of Ideal had two World War two surplus Quonset huts added to either side of the building. At this time, he also conceived the TV game show Pick Your Ideal which was hosted by the then famous, Ernie Kovacs. Along with this, one of the most famous jingles of all time was born. This jingle is still known throughout the tri-state area to this day!
Ideal Fashions Inc. has become New Jersey's largest prom store after being in business for over 70 years! Our store is stocked with hundreds of prom and special occasion dresses, not to mention our large selection of sportswear, evening wear and outer wear at unbeatable prices. Your prom is just as important to us as it is to you. We carry over 35 of the most popular designers including Jovani, Alyce Designs, Scala, Mori Lee, Jessica McClintock, and Cassandra Stone just to name a few.
After finding the gown you've always imagined, we have all the accessories you'll need for your special night! We have a dazzling collection of tiaras, necklaces, ear rings and bracelets. We also have a large selection of shoes, purses and gloves to match your dress.
Prom is one of the most memorable nights of your life! Here at Ideal, it is of great importance to us that our staff be fully dedicated. We know how important it is for you to find your dream dress, be assured we will be there to help! You can visit our store 7 days a week or shop online 24 hours a day. If your dress doesn't fit like you've imagined it would, we have a team of the most experienced seamstresses willing to lend a helping hand to make just the right alterations.
We have a large selection of dresses in stock that can usually be shipped to you the same day you place your order. If we don't have what you are looking, many dresses can be special ordered in a variety of sizes and colors.
